Important Note
If all required maps are downloaded but the app still asks you to download a missing map, the issue may be caused by map data from different providers.
Sygic offline maps can be based on data from different providers, such as TomTom or OSM. Routes between multiple maps can only be calculated if the maps used for the route are from the same provider.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Why does Sygic calculate a different route than I expected?
The route may be affected by your route settings, avoids, downloaded maps, vehicle profile, traffic information, or map data. Please check your settings and maps first, then send us the requested details if the issue continues.
Can routing issues be caused by map errors?
Yes. Some routing issues may be caused by map data errors, such as missing roads, incorrect road restrictions, outdated road closures, or recent changes in the road network.
Why is my truck or camper route different from a car route?
Vehicle profile settings can affect which roads are allowed. Restrictions such as vehicle size, weight, or road limitations may change the calculated route.
Do I need to send GPS coordinates?
GPS coordinates are not required, but they are very helpful. If you do not know them, you can send an address, nearby road name, landmark, or map screenshot.
Why does the app ask me to download a missing map if I already have all maps downloaded?
This can happen if the maps needed for your route are based on data from different providers. Sygic offline maps can use map data from providers such as TomTom or OSM, and routes between multiple maps can only be calculated if the maps used for the route come from the same provider.
