Mobile data and online services in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation

The Connection settings section allows you to manage how the application uses internet connectivity and mobile data. Here you can configure roaming and data usage limits, allow map downloads over mobile networks, control anonymous data sharing, and manage other online features.

Use mobile data

Configure how the application uses mobile data.

You can:

  • Enable or disable Allow data roaming.

  • Enable or disable Limit mobile data.

  • Set a Data limit.

  • Configure Hours planned monthly.

  • Select the billing cycle date using Monthly invoice on.

The Usage this month section provides an overview of data usage and compares it with the limits you have configured.

 

Allow map download on mobile data

Enable or disable downloading maps using a mobile data connection. 

 

Send anonymous data

Help improve the application and traffic services by sharing anonymous usage and location data.

You can enable or disable:

  • Help improve Sygic

  • Help improve traffic 

 

Allow route push from server (Android only)

Enable or disable Allow route push from server.

This feature allows routes planned on a computer to be sent directly to the application on a phone or tablet. 

 

Enable driver scoring

Enable or disable the Driver Scoring feature.

This feature requires an external data source configuration and is only available for commercial customers using bulk licences.
