Map appearance and display options in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation – Sygic Support

The Map settings section allows you to customize how the map looks and behaves in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation. Here you can adjust the map appearance, displayed information, points of interest, lane guidance, traffic display, zoom behavior, and other map-related preferences to suit your needs.

Colour scheme

Switch between Day mode, Night mode, or Automatic, which changes the map appearance based on the time of day. The default setting is automatic switching between day and night mode.

Map details

Choose which map elements and points of interest (POIs) are displayed on the map.

You can:

Select which POI categories to show.
Switch between All on, All off, Important for my vehicle, or Selected only.
Show or hide Buildings.
Show or hide Landmarks.
Show or hide Signpost info.

POIs configured in this section are displayed in map browsing mode. During active navigation, POIs are managed separately through the POI on route settings.

Map view

Switch between 2D and 3D map view, configure the North Up map orientation, and enable or disable Panoramas. Restarting the application is required when changing the Panoramas setting.

Lane guidance

Enable or disable the Dynamic Lane Assistant, which displays recommended lanes by displaying lane guidance before junctions, motorway exits, and complex intersections.

Cellular data

Enable or disable the Data traffic counter, which tracks the amount of mobile data used by the application. The counter is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can also choose whether data usage should be monitored only while roaming.

POI on route

POIs on route display useful points of interest along your route, helping you quickly locate nearby fuel stations, parking areas, restaurants, and other services during navigation.

Choose how points of interest are displayed during navigation:

Dynamic
Always on
Off

You can also select which POI categories appear on the route sidebar during navigation.

Auto zoom

Enable or disable automatic map zooming during navigation.

Traffic information

Show or hide traffic information on the map.

Full screen

Enable or disable Full screen mode. When enabled, the device's top status bar is hidden, allowing the map to use more screen space. This setting requires an application restart to take effect.

Current street

Show or hide the Current street information.

Speed limit

Show or hide the Speed limit indicator.
