Learn how Head-up Display works in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, how to launch HUD, mirror the image, and project navigation instructions onto your windshield.
Head-up Display, also known as HUD, helps you keep your attention on the road by projecting navigation instructions onto your windshield. This allows you to see important navigation information directly in your line of sight while driving.
HUD is especially useful during night driving, as it can help reduce the need to look down at your phone screen.
How Head-up Display works
Head-up Display shows optimized navigation instructions on your phone screen. When you place your device under the windshield, the image is reflected onto the glass.
HUD can show important navigation information, such as:
turn instructions,
distance to the next turn,
current speed,
speed limit,
speed camera warnings,
estimated time of arrival.
To see the information correctly on the windshield, the HUD image needs to be mirrored.
