How to move offline maps to an SD-card

During the initial setup, Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation allows you to choose where downloaded maps will be stored:

  • Internal storage

  • SD card (if available and supported by your device)

Changing the storage location of already downloaded maps is possible only by reinstalling Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

To move your maps to a different storage location:

  1. Uninstall Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation and delete any remaining Sygic folders.

  2. Reinstall the app and select the desired storage location during setup.

  3. Download your maps again.

 

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Will I lose my Premium after reinstalling the app?

No. Your Premium can be activated again after reinstalling the app. Simply sign in with the account used for the purchase or restore the purchase using the original purchase method.

Why can't I choose an SD card?

SD card storage depends on your device, Android version, and available permissions. If the SD card option is not offered during installation, external map storage may not be available on your device.
