Almost all problems of Premium, Premium+ or other paid services not working are caused by it not being activated on your current device. Therefore, the most common solution to this problem is to activate it.
How to activate Premium products
You can activate your paid products by a simple login:
1. Tap on the Sygic app icon on your device.
2. Go to the Menu (☰).
3. Tap on Profile (Sign up).
4. Select "Already have an account? Log in" at the bottom of the screen.
5. Sign in using your email and password.
You will find a list of active products in the Sygic app on your device in Menu (☰) → Sygic Store → "All your licenses" (Android) / "Restore/manage purchases" (iOS). If your Premium product appears in this section, it is activate and should work.
Login with a different account.
Your purchases and licenses are always tied to the account you purchase the license or subscription with. If you login with a different account, the license will not activate. This applies also to social accounts (Google, Facebook, Apple).
In general, the best thing to do is search your email account inbox for a receipt - if you didn't delete or change it, this will help you find the correct account to login with (because the receipt is always sent to that account).
Premium purchased via Google Play/Apple App Store
Premium purchases made via Google Play/Apple App Store are usually bound to your Google Play Store Account or Apple ID. To activate such purchases, the app offers a Restore option:
- Launch Sygic app on your device.
- Go to Menu (☰) → Sygic Store → Activate/ Restore.
- Tap on the "Restore" button.
- You can check the activation by going to Menu (☰) → Sygic Store → "All your licenses/ "Restore/manage purchases" - if the service is listed there, then it has been successfully activated.
Please note that you must be signed in to Google Play/Apple App Store with the same account you used for the purchase, otherwise the restore will fail.
Where is my Product Code?
Sygic stopped selling licenses with product codes in 2021. All purchases since 2021 are activated by signing in in the app with an account. Customers that purchased licenses before 2021 on Android received a product code that can be used to activate Premium features on their Android devices, however, it is recommended to login in the app with an account, because it is easier to login once and have everything activated, than activating multiple codes.
Important:
It is not possible to transfer Premium lifetime licenses from Android to iOS apps and vice versa. The license you purchased is either valid on supported Android devices or on supported iOS devices, never on both.
Premium+ is the only product that can be transferred between platforms, so you should be able to activate it on both iOS and Android with a simple login.
