Traffic information (online service)

Traffic information is a service that provides you with faster route suggestions when there are delays due to traffic on your route. You will find more details about the service here.

Please note that traffic is an online service, it requires an active internet connection to work.

Traffic can be purchased directly in your app’s Sygic Store , or with Upgrade to World + Traffic license. Please note that traffic can be purchased separately only for Europe.

It is similar as purchasing licenses for general Sygic GPS Navigation app, so please follow the steps in this article.

The amount of data consumed by the traffic service varies and depends on the density of the incidents, the amount of countries you have downloaded, the amount of incidents around you in general. It can be approximately 1 megabyte (1 MB) per one hour of usage, then again, it could be even more, even up to ~10MB of data.

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Australia:
Australia, New Zealand

Middle East:
Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates

What to do if you don't see traffic in the app?

  1. At first, please make sure you are connected to internet, signed in the app with the account you used for purchase of the Traffic license and that it is active (It is listed in Menu → Sygic Store → Restore/Manage your purchases)

  2. You need to be in a country in which we have traffic service coverage. You will find our current service coverage above.

  3. Make sure you have traffic enabled in Menu → Settings → Display → Traffic info

  4. Please try to restart the app.
