Speed Cameras is an optional paid add-on that alerts you to speed camera locations along your route.
When a speed camera is located ahead on the planned route, the navigation displays a warning in advance to help you adjust your speed in time.
How speed cameras are displayed
When approaching a speed camera:
a speed camera icon is displayed on the map,
the camera location is highlighted along the route,
the remaining distance to the camera is shown,
an audio alert can be played, depending on your notification settings.
The warning is automatically removed after passing the camera location.
Speed Camera Notification Settings
Speed camera alerts and their sound notifications can be configured in:
Menu → Settings → Notifications & Sounds → Speed cameras
Notification enables or disables speed camera warnings.
Sound lets you choose the sound played when approaching a speed camera. You can use one of the predefined sounds, disable the sound alert, or select a custom warning sound.
Custom warning sounds require a voice with Text-to-Speech (TTS) support to be selected in the navigation voice settings.
Vibrate enables vibration when a speed camera warning is triggered.
Warnings in advance allows you to configure the warning distance separately for built-up areas and roads outside built-up areas.
