Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation is an offline navigation app that allows you to search for locations, plan routes, and navigate without an internet connection.
Before using the app for the first time, make sure you have downloaded the required maps and installed the latest updates while connected to the internet. This article also explains the initial setup process that guides you through the first launch of the application.
Some optional online features, such as Traffic Information and Speed Cameras, require an active internet connection.
Initial Setup
After installing Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, the app is ready to be launched for the first time. During the initial setup, the app downloads the required data and guides you through a few basic steps.
Launch the app
Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation from your device or via Google Play Store / App Store.Select storage (Android)
Choose whether maps will be stored in your device's internal storage or on an SD card.Activate your license or start a trial
If you already have a license, select I have a license and activate the product. Otherwise, select Try for free.Download maps
Select the recommended map and/ or any additional maps you need, then tap Download maps.Configure your vehicle profile
Enter your vehicle parameters to ensure routes are calculated according to your vehicle restrictions.Accept the license agreement
Review and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).Grant app permissions
Allow the permissions required for navigation features, such as location access.
Once the setup is complete, the app is ready for navigation.

Have a charger available for longer journeys.
Place your device in a suitable holder that provides a clear view of the screen and protects the device from direct sunlight.
