Points of Interest on Route (POIs on Route) help you find useful places along your planned route without leaving the navigation screen.
Depending on your preferences, the app can display nearby points of interest such as:
fuel stations,
parking areas,
restaurants,
accommodation,
service areas,
and other selected categories.
POIs are displayed on the left side of the navigation screen. Each POI includes the distance from your current position, helping you identify useful stops along your route.
Configure POIs on Route
To configure POIs on Route:
Menu → Settings → Map → POI on route
Here you can:
choose which POI categories are displayed,
select how POIs are shown during navigation.
Display modes
Dynamic
In Dynamic mode, POIs are hidden by default. To display them, tap anywhere on the navigation screen. The POI sidebar appears for approximately 4 seconds and then automatically hides again.
This mode helps reduce screen clutter while still allowing quick access to nearby points of interest when needed.
Always On
In Always On mode, the POI sidebar remains visible throughout navigation. This allows you to continuously see upcoming points of interest along your route.
Off
In Off mode, POIs on Route are not displayed.
Special behavior on motorways
When Dynamic mode is enabled, the app automatically switches to Always On behavior while driving on a highway. After leaving the motorway, the app automatically returns to Dynamic mode and POIs are displayed only after tapping the navigation screen.
