To start navigating in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, first set up your vehicle profile and route planning preferences. Then enter your destination, review the suggested route, and tap Navigate to begin guidance.
Set up your vehicle profile
- Open Menu → Vehicle profile.
- Select an existing profile or create a new one.
- Enter your vehicle parameters.
Accurate vehicle parameters help ensure routes are calculated according to vehicle-specific restrictions.
Configure route planning settings
Before entering a destination, review your route planning settings.
Menu → Settings → Route planning
Here you can choose how routes are calculated, whether traffic information should be used, whether alternative routes should be offered, and which road types should be avoided.
These settings affect future route calculations.

Enter a destination
Enter your destination and review the proposed route. For more information about destination search options, refer to the user manual. - Review and adjust the route
Before starting navigation, you can review the route details, add waypoints, or choose one of the available alternative routes.
Start navigation
When your route is ready, tap Navigate to start turn-by-turn navigation.
