Learn how to update offline maps in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, where to find map updates, and how to check your installed map version.
Map updates help keep your offline maps accurate and up to date. They may include changes to roads, speed limits, turn restrictions, road closures, points of interest, and other map data used for navigation.
In Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, map updates are released four times a year, usually in March, June, September, and December.
How to update maps
To update your offline maps:
Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.
Tap Menu ☰.
Go to Manage maps.
If a new map update is available, you will see a notification about the update.
Tap the update option.
If you do not see any update notification in Manage maps, your maps are already up to date and no action is needed.
Important before updating maps
Before starting a map update, we recommend that you:
Update all maps at once.
Use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Make sure your device has enough free storage space.
Keep your device charged or connected to a charger.
Allow enough time for the update to finish, especially if you have many maps downloaded.
Map updates can be large, so downloading them over mobile data may use a significant amount of data.
Where to check your map version
You can check the current version of your maps in the app.
Menu → Settings → Information → About → Map version list
