How to download offline maps

Learn how to download offline maps in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation using Manage maps and make them available for offline navigation.

 

Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation allows you to download maps directly to your device so you can navigate without an internet connection. Offline maps can be managed in the Manage maps section of the app.
 

Download maps

To download offline maps:

  1. Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.
  2. Tap Menu ☰ in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Go to Manage maps.
  4. Select the region whose maps you want to manage.
    • If you have more than one active license, you may see multiple regions.
  5. Choose the country you want to download.
  6. Tap the country name.
    • The status will change from Available to Download.
    • The selected country will be highlighted in green.
  7. Tap Proceed in the bottom-right corner to confirm the download.
  8. Wait until the map download is complete.

 

Check downloaded maps

In Manage maps, downloaded countries are marked as Installed. This means the map is already saved on your device and ready to use offline.

 

Good to know

  • Download all required maps before your trip, especially when traveling through multiple countries or areas with limited internet connection.
  • We recommend using a stable Wi-Fi connection for map downloads.
  • Make sure your device has enough free storage space.
  • If the download fails, check your internet connection and available storage.
  • Offline navigation is available only for downloaded maps.

 

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Does seeing a region name mean that all maps in that region are downloaded?

No. Seeing a region name, such as Europe, does not mean that all maps in that region are already downloaded.

The region name only shows the group of maps available for your license. To use maps offline, you still need to open the region in Manage maps and download the individual countries you want to use.

Can I download maps for several countries at once?

Yes. In Manage maps, you can select multiple countries before confirming the download.

After selecting the countries you want to download, tap Proceed to start downloading them.

Why can’t I navigate offline in a country I can see in Manage maps?

Seeing a country in Manage maps does not always mean it is downloaded.

To use the country offline, it must be marked as Installed. If it is marked as Available, you need to select it and tap Proceed to download it.
