Activation methods

Depending on your purchase type, you can activate your license using one of these methods:

• Sign in to your Sygic account if you purchased your license on the web. 

• Restore Google Play Store purchase if you purchased your license directly in the Android app. 

• Restore Apple App Store purchase if you purchased your license directly in the iOS app.

• Enter a product code if you have an older Android product code. 

 

Activate a web purchase with your Sygic account

Premium licenses purchased on the web after March 9, 2022 can be used on both Android and iOS devices. 

After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with your activation email address. If this email address has not been registered as a Sygic account before, you will receive another email with a link to create your login password and complete your Sygic account registration.

To activate your license:

1. Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation on your phone or tablet.

2. Go to Menu → Sign In.

3. Enter your activation email address and password.

4. Check your activation in Menu → Sygic Store → All your licenses.

 

Restore a Google Play Store purchase on Android

Google Play Store purchases do not have and do not need a product code. 

To activate a license purchased in the Android app:

1. Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

2. Go to Menu → Sygic Store → Activate / Restore.

3. Tap Restore Google Play.

4. Check your activation in Menu → Sygic Store → All your licenses.

You must be signed in to Google Play with the same Google account that was used for the purchase. Otherwise, the restore will not work. 

Please note that a license purchased via the Android app can be used only on Android devices and cannot be transferred to iOS. 

 

Restore an Apple App Store purchase on iOS

Apple App Store purchases do not have and do not need a product code. 

To activate a license purchased in the iOS app:

1. Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

2. Go to Menu → Sygic Store → Restore.

3. Tap Restore.

4. Enter your Apple ID and password if requested.

5. Check your activation in Menu → Sygic Store → All your licenses.

The restore will fail if you use a different Apple ID than the one used to complete the in-app purchase. 

Please note that a license purchased via the iOS app can be used only on iOS devices and cannot be transferred to Android. 

 

Activate with a product code

Product code in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation activation is available only for older Android purchases made before 2022. Product codes are not needed for recent web, Google Play Store, or Apple App Store purchases.

To activate with a product code:

1. Open Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

2. Go to Menu → Sygic Store → Activate / Restore → Activate product code.

3. Enter your product code.

4. Select Done.

5. Check your activation in Menu → Sygic Store → All your licenses.

 

Device limitation

All software licenses are limited to use on a certain number of devices.

Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation paid services can be activated on only one device at a time. If you activate the service on a new device, it will be automatically deactivated on the previous one.

 

How to check if the license is active

You can verify your activation in the app by going to:

Menu → Sygic Store → All your licenses

If your purchased product or service is listed there, your license has been successfully activated and is ready to use.
