How to preview the route

Learn how to preview a route in Sygic GPS Navigation before starting navigation.

 

The Preview feature in Sygic GPS Navigation lets you simulate the entire planned route before real navigation starts. It is not just a static route preview - it is a route demonstration, which means the app virtually goes through the route as if the trip were already in progress.
 

You can use Preview in two ways:

Preview as an option in route options

  1. Select your destination and tap Get directions to calculate the route.

  2. On the route selection screen, swipe up the bottom bar to reveal Route options.

  3. Tap Preview (the button with an eye icon) to review the route before starting navigation. In this mode, you can check how the route is planned before you begin the actual trip.

Preview replaces Start button

  1. Create a route where the starting point is not your current GPS position.

  2. On the route selection screen, the main button will show Preview instead of Start.

  3. Tap Preview to start a route demonstration (simulation). Instead of launching real navigation, Sygic will simulate the route and show how the trip would progress from start to destination.
