What is Motorbike Mode?

Motorbike Mode is an add-on in the Sygic app designed for motorcycle riding. After purchasing it, a special motorcyclist navigation mode becomes available in the app.

When you select a motorcycle as your vehicle and enter a destination, the app automatically switches to Motorbike Mode. In this mode, the app's appearance changes to be clearer for motorcyclists while riding.

For example, information about the motorcycle's lean angle, elevation profile of the route, or weather along the route will be displayed. Everything is tailored so you can quickly glance at the screen even while riding.

Where can I find the Motorcycle/Motorbike mode profile?
Motorbike Mode is available within the motorcycle vehicle profile. 
You can find it in Menu → Vehicle Profile, where you select motorcycle from the list of profiles. After switching to this profile, Motorbike Mode will activate during navigation, and the app will adjust for motorcycle riding.

Is Motorbike mode available via Android Auto or CarPlay?

No, Motorbike mode is not available through Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

How can I purchase Motorbike Mode?

• Purchase via e-shop

Go to our e-shop and buy Motorbike Mode. Use the same Sygic account in the app that you use for the purchase. After completing the purchase, simply log into the app with this account, and the license will activate automatically.

• Purchase directly in the app

Open the Sygic app → Menu → Sygic Store → Motorbike Mode. The purchase will be processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. After payment, Motorbike Mode activates immediately.

I enabled Motorbike mode, but the map looks the same as before. Where is the special interface?

The special motorcyclist interface appears only after entering a destination and starting navigation. Plan a route and you will immediately see the difference.

What is calibration and how do I set it?

Calibration in Motorbike Mode is used to set the correct indication of the motorcycle's lean angle. Before riding, press the calibration button when the motorcycle is standing on a flat surface. From that moment, the app will show how much the motorcycle leans left or right, giving you an accurate overview of the lean during your ride.

How does the "Weather on route" feature work?

If you have the Weather on route feature enabled, the app will display the current weather at your route's destination. A small weather icon with the current temperature will appear at the destination so you can quickly check the conditions where you are heading.

Do I need Premium+ to activate Motorbike mode?
No. Motorbike mode is a standalone add-on and does not require Premium+. However, some features may only be available with the Premium+ package.

Why don't I see Motorbike mode even though I have Premium+?
Motorbike mode is not part of the Premium+ package. It is a separate add-on that must be purchased separately.

If you want to use Motorbike mode, you must purchase it separately from our E-shop. Motorbike mode can also be purchased directly in the app. Go to Menu → Sygic Store in the app and buy the Motorbike mode add-on.

Motorbike Mode without Premium+

You can use Motorbike Mode even without Premium+. During navigation, the motorcyclist view, lean angle indicator, and elevation profile of the route will be displayed.

When purchasing Motorbike Mode, you are not buying Premium+ features. Premium+ is not included in Motorbike Mode, so its navigation features will not work without Premium+. These include voice guidance, speed camera alerts, or real-time traffic information.

Even without Premium+, you can normally use Motorbike Mode and enjoy its basic motorcycle features. For a better overview, you can check the feature table with Premium+ and without Premium+.
