Learn what to do when you discover incorrect, missing, or outdated map information in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.
Although Sygic uses map data from professional map providers, map inaccuracies can occasionally occur. Roads may be newly constructed, closed, renamed, or have updated traffic regulations. Truck restrictions may also change over time.
If you notice incorrect or missing information, we recommend reporting it so it can be reviewed and corrected in a future map update.
Before reporting a map issue
Before submitting a report, make sure that:
You are using the latest version of Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.
Your offline maps are updated.
The issue is still present after updating the app and maps.
In some cases, the issue may already be resolved in a newer map release.
Report a map error in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation
You can report map errors directly from Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation app:
- Tap the affected location on the map.
- Open the location details.
- Select Report a map error.
- Choose the appropriate category:
- Map error
- Truck restriction
- Submit the report.
You can also access map error reporting from the quick menu available in both map browsing mode and navigation mode.
Report a map error by contacting Sygic Support
If you cannot report the issue from the app, please contact Sygic Support and include:
- The exact location of the issue (GPS coordinates if possible)
- The beginning and end coordinates for road segment-related issues
- A clear description of the problem and the correct information
The more details you provide, the easier it is to verify and correct the reported issue.
What happens after submitting a report?
Reported issues are reviewed and, when verified, forwarded to the map data provider for correction.
Map changes do not appear immediately. Most approved corrections are included in a future map update and may take several weeks or longer to become available, depending on the map update cycle.
