Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation is designed for trucks, buses, motorhomes, and caravans. It includes advanced route guidance that takes vehicle-specific parameters, into account to help find more suitable routes for larger vehicles. Because of these specialized routing capabilities, it is a more advanced and higher-priced solution. It is available as Truck Premium and Caravan Premium for different regions, with additional paid add-ons available. Purchases in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation can be activated on 1 device only.
Vehicle profiles and route calculation
The most important difference is route planning.
Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation allows you to create a vehicle profile and define parameters such as dimensions and weight. Routes are then calculated with vehicle restrictions in mind, helping to avoid roads that may be unsuitable for larger vehicles.
Sygic GPS Navigation is intended for standard passenger vehicles and does not support vehicle-specific routing.
Purchases are app-specific
Sygic GPS Navigation and Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation are two separate applications. Premium features, subscriptions, and paid add-ons are purchased as content exclusive to the specific app in which they are offered.
This means that:
Products purchased in Sygic GPS Navigation can only be used in Sygic GPS Navigation.
Products purchased in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation can only be used in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.
Purchases, premium features, subscriptions, and add-ons cannot be transferred between the two apps.
To use premium features in both applications, they must be purchased separately for each app.
