Although both applications are developed by Sygic and share a number of navigation features, Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation includes functionality specifically designed for larger vehicles and route planning with vehicle restrictions in mind.

The main differences are related to route calculation, vehicle profiles, and product licensing.

Vehicle profiles and route calculation

The most important difference is the ability to create and use vehicle-specific profiles.

In Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation, routes can be calculated according to vehicle parameters. These parameters are considered during route planning to help avoid roads that may not be suitable for the selected vehicle.

Sygic GPS Navigation does not support vehicle-dimension-based routing and calculates routes for standard passenger vehicles.

Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation is designed for larger vehicles, including trucks, semi-trailer trucks, delivery vehicles, motorhomes, RVs, and caravans. Because these vehicles may be subject to size, weight, or access restrictions, routes generated in the app can differ from those typically used by passenger vehicles.

Products, licenses, and subscriptions

Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation and Sygic GPS Navigation are separate applications with separate products.

Purchased products cannot be transferred between Sygic GPS Navigation and Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

Please note that a license or subscription to use premium features in one app does not grant access to premium features in the other app. To use premium features in both applications, a separate license or subscription is required for each app.

For example:

• A license or subscription purchased in Sygic GPS Navigation cannot be activated in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation.

• A license purchased in Sygic Truck & Caravan Navigation cannot be activated in Sygic GPS Navigation.
