Real View Navigation
Real View Navigation is an optional add-on feature you can purchase, that will enable a new and unique method of displaying your route and navigation instructions. This technology is also known as „Augmented Reality“ or AR, and while some other apps have used it for different purposes, Sygic is the first to bring it to navigation.
Instead of the classic view where you see the route on a map, Real View draws the line of the route directly over a live image of the road ahead of you which is captured by the camera of your iPhone or iPad. You just have to place your device so its rear camera has a clear view forward through your windshield.
A major advantage of this mode, is that you can still see what is happening on the road before you, even during moments while you are glancing at the screen of your device.
Real View works anywhere in the world, it doesn’t have any special requirements for your device to be able to use it, and it works offline so no internet connection is required.

Where can I purchase it?
If your Sygic application is up to date, just open it and go to Menu → Sygic Store and the offer should be displayed.
Will it work in my country?
Yes. Real View Navigation uses only the phone's camera and takes the route instructions just like you would navigate normally, so as long as your phone has a camera and you have downloaded the map where you are located, you are free to go. There are no other necessities.
How does it work?
Firstly, you need to create a route to any destination. Then tap on the Quick Menu (the three dots in the right bottom corner of the navigation screen) and press Real View Navigation. Place your phone into your car holder (if you haven't already) and align the route on the display with the actual road. Drive.
How do I activate it?
The license for Real View Navigation is bound to the AppleID that you purchase it with. It should be active right after the purchase. In other cases, you can restore it via Menu → Sygic Store → Restore/Manage purchases → Restore.
How do I transfer it to a new device?
Open Sygic on the other device and go to Menu → Sygic Store → Restore/Manage purchases - Restore.
Please note: It is not possible to activate the license on another platform, only on the one that you have purchased it for.
It's not showing anything and lying on my desk
Real View Navigation uses the phone's camera so it must not be obstructed. Please place it in your car holder and adjust accordingly.
- Real View does not work with external cameras.
- Real View does not work alongside with Dashcam.
- You can exit it via the Quick Menu, just like you have started it.
